Day by day

1. 
   Days 1 – 2

   Tashkent and on to Samarkand

   Welcome at Tashkent airport, a city tour, then the fast train to Samarkand and check-in.

2. 
   Day 3

   The Registan and its madrasas

   A day on Registan Square: the three madrasas, their tiled portals and mosaics.

3. 
   Day 4

   Samarkand tilework and domes

   Decorated interiors and domes, the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis and the Imam Bukhari mausoleum.

4. 
   Days 5 – 6

   Bukhara

   On to Bukhara: the Poi Kalan complex, its minaret, the old covered bazaars and the old town.

5. 
   Days 7 – 8

   Khiva and the return

   The Itchan Kala fortress in Khiva, then back to Tashkent and the flight home to Casablanca.
